The crown is a symbol of leadership within the sorority.
The palm tree symbolizes a sturdy development between members.
The phoenix represents the reorganization of Alpha Sigma Alpha in 1914. It is found on out coat of arms and is the name of our national magazine.
The pearl, our first jewel, represents the beauty that comes with growth and belongs distinctly to the new member.
The ruby, our second jewel, belongs distinctly to the initiated member.
Crimson: This is one of the primary colors of Alpha Sigma Alpha and represents loyalty among members.
Gold: This color symbolizes wealth, wisdom, and social achievement.
Palm Green: This color is a symbol of victory, hope, and immortality.
Pearl White: This is the other primary color of Alpha Sigma Alphas and symbolizes fellowship.
